[Aliens: Escape trailer]

first off a trailer is supposed to get the viewer hyped and be full of a sense of what you can expect from the full feature.
this was a dude walkin around real slow with a gun shooting shit. big deal. i get more kick outta Doom 1. never have fades in a trailer unless you are covering mutiple segments of whats coming up, like a scene from the beginning, fade, scene from the middle, fade, scene from the end. where there are fades, there should be music.

second, if the full feature is gonna be that slow with that kinda visuals, i dont wanna see it. there was no story and for an Aliens scenario, and escape setting is boring (re: Aliens vs Predator Marine Escape skirmish). improve your skillz or work together with some people that can put your ideas together in a better way.

i can generate ideas with the best of them but my buddy can. he sucks at everything that flash is about though, check out our teaser from my profile!

That's what I always thought.
I actually had one but he was big and I didn't want to go over 3,000kb. Obviously that's one of the problems with bitmap graphics. My next project will be done in vector graphics.

the voice acting was cheesy as hell

and the sequences were stereotypebut the effort was awesome. i disliked the cartoony use of colour and shapes - a vampire short like that should have had a much more lacklustre mood. use more lighting and, when used effectively with colour, can produce more atmosphere for less.

keep up the good work
